Job summary

Sunreef Yachts in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking an experienced marine spray painter to apply paints and coatings on yachts. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, operate spray equipment, and ensure quality finishes according to standards.

The role requires 2+ years in marine painting, knowledge of marine coatings, and the ability to work safely in confined spaces, including at heights. A proactive team player, you’ll support project timelines and maintain equipment and workspace quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of spray painting experience in marine/yacht/shipyard or automotive fields.
• Knowledge of marine paint systems, primers, topcoats and anti-fouling coatings.
• Ability to operate airless and conventional spray equipment safely.
• Solid understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
• Physically fit for confined spaces and working at heights; basic English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, masking and cleaning.
• Mix and apply marine paints, primers and coatings using spray equipment.
• Operate spray guns, compressors and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure paint thickness and finish meet quality standards and specs.
• Carry out touch-ups, repairs and repainting as required.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations; keep area clean.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to complete jobs on schedule.
