Job summary

Trelleborg Group in Dubai seeks a motivated Sales Engineer for Marine Fenders to bridge engineering solutions and customer needs across the Middle East and Pakistan. You will develop new opportunities and manage existing accounts, collaborating with Sales and Engineering teams to tailor value-driven solutions.

Based in Dubai with substantial regional travel, you will drive technical sales, participate in proposals, and support aftersales to grow regional Marine Systems business while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is mandatory.
• 3-5 years proven experience in sales, project engineering roles or equivalent, ideally in the marine sector.
• Salesperson with a minimum of 3 years of sales, project, commercial, or management experience in the Marine industry, a related engineering discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in strategic objectives: conferences, seminars, local advertising.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional partners, consultants, agents, industry bodies, end-users.
• Convert leads and inquiries into opportunities for quotation and sales orders to meet regional targets.
• Provide technical expertise to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
• Prepare costing sheets, quotations, prequalification documents and technical submissions matching customer requirements.
• Participate in product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions with customers.
• Ensure CRM data entry is complete and updated weekly; capture voice of the client in quality system.
• Support aftersales site visits and inspections and regional growth initiatives.
