Job summary

Vopak is seeking a Terminal Operator with a marine background in Abu Dhabi to manage loading and discharging of petroleum products and to ensure safe, compliant terminal operations. The role includes monitoring equipment, logging maintenance, and following strict safety protocols.

The candidate will handle berthing/unberthing, inter-tank transfers, and utilities management while maintaining accurate operation records and supporting emergency response drills as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma in chemical, mechanical or Marine stream or equivalent.
• Relevant Marine Officer certification is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in industrial safety, hazardous materials handling, or equipment operation are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Loading and discharging of petroleum products to and from ships.
• Berthing and unberthing of vessels at berths.
• Inter-tank and pipeline transfers; pigging and stripping pipelines; changing manifold connections.
