Job summary

NMDC Group is seeking skilled technicians for its marine EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will troubleshoot and maintain power and control systems on vessels, using diagnostic tools for Caterpillar engines and PLCs to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires hands-on electrical maintenance, interpretation of schematics, spare parts selection, and detailed reporting, while adhering to HSE policies and collaborating with colleagues across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining power and control systems on marine vessels.
• Hands-on experience with control panels, PLC systems, electronic diagnostics, and maintenance of Caterpillar marine engines.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain power and control systems on marine vessels, using diagnostics.
• Carry out routine and corrective electrical maintenance and provide progress reports.
• Escalate complex problems to supervisors and follow HSE policies.
• Collaborate with other departments and support colleagues during maintenance.
• Interpret electrical schematics, identify spare parts, and prepare detailed technical reports.
