Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Manager - Uniform Control to oversee the resort's uniform operations in Ras Al Khaimah. The role focuses on maintaining stock records, forecasting needs, and managing budgeting and procurement for uniforms across departments.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years of experience in high-volume wardrobe operations using automated RFID systems, with strong leadership and budget management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in high-volume wardrobe operations with automated conveyor and UHF RFID uniform management systems.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with a solid administrative background and advanced proficiency in inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update uniform stock records using Uniform Management Systems.
• Track issuance, returns and adjustments across all departments.
• Forecast uniform needs based on staffing and operational changes.
• Lead procurement activities, liaise with suppliers and monitor delivery schedules.
• Evaluate vendor performance, approve uniform requests and ensure budget compliance.
• Coordinate fittings for new hires and existing staff, ensuring proper sizing and comfort.
• Implement cleaning, repair and replacement procedures.
• Monitor uniform condition, schedule inspections and manage timely replacements.
• Investigate lost or damaged uniforms, apply payroll deductions if necessary and update inventory.
• Prepare and manage the annual uniform budget with monthly breakdowns.
• Track expenses and generate usage/inventory reports for management.
• Enforce uniform standards and guidelines aligned with health, safety and branding requirements.
• Create and update SOPs and policies for uniform operations.
• Supervise and mentor the uniform control team, supporting succession planning and performance management.
• Coordinate with laundry and other departments to ensure uniform quality.
• Safeguard confidential employee information and uniform records.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island: Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theater, and a beach club. About The Position

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in high-volume wardrobe operations preferably with automated conveyor and UHF RFID uniform management systems, housekeeping or inventory management.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with a solid administrative background and advanced proficiency in inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong people management, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/budget management.
