Job description
Job Purpose

To support and drive the growth of our Asset Management business across the GCC region by servicing existing clients and actively contributing to new business development. This includes handling client inquiries, supporting sales initiatives, and strengthening relationships with distributors and institutional investors.

Key Result Areas
  • Be accountable for supporting the revenue and activity targets of the firm with proactive client prospecting and engagement
  • Use exiting experience and know how and client relationships to bring new clients and foster closer relationships with existing.
  • Serve existing clients, including discretionary mandate clients and fund distributors.
  • Prospect new clients through referrals and cold calling, build pipeline, and achieve sales targets.
  • Respond to client inquiries and coordinate client meetings and reviews.
  • Conduct training for fund distributors on our fund offerings.
  • Prepare sales materials such as pitch books, market updates, competitive analysis, and client reports.
  • Lead marketing functions and participate in events.
  • Build new and develop existing client relationships across various segments (fund distributors, family offices, institutional, sovereign wealth).
  • Assist with operational tasks including KYC, regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and meet call/meeting quotas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including portfolio managers, product development, marketing, and business support.
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships

The role operates within the Asset Management business targeting GCC markets. It requires existing relationships, prospecting and sales skills as well as a good knowledge of asset management and how to position products and services to different client types. The role will interact regularly with clients, fund distributors, and prospects across retail, family office, institutional, and sovereign wealth segments. Internally, the role involves collaboration with portfolio managers, marketing, product development, business support, and compliance teams as well as the wider banking group areas such as the private and corporate banking departments. The role requires business travel and a self-driven approach within established compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in asset or wealth management, in a client‑facing role.
  • Good understanding of the Asset Management business, investment strategies and delivery structures
  • Strong understanding of investment funds and financial markets.# Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience working with retail, institutional, and sovereign wealth clients.
  • Self‑motivated, ambitious, and capable of taking ownership and responsibility.
