Job summary

KPMG Fakhro is seeking a seasoned risk-management professional in the UAE to lead and deliver risk & regulatory transformation engagements for banking and financial services clients. You will advise on Non-Financial Risk, Governance, and Enterprise Risk Management, design and enhance governance frameworks, and manage end-to-end delivery from requirements to adoption.

Role requires deep regulatory knowledge including CBUAE, SAMA, Basel, CMA, and SCA.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management in banking/finance.
• Experience in Regulatory Licensing, Remediation and Compliance transformation.
• Solid knowledge of governance, controls and ERM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk & regulatory transformation engagements for banking/FS clients.
• Advise on non-financial risk, governance, and enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Design and enhance risk governance models, policies, controls and reporting.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery from requirements to implementation and adoption.
• Provide advisory support on regulatory expectations from CBUAE, SAMA, DFSA, ADGM, and regional regulators.

Projects & Team Responsibilities Client Delivery

• Lead and deliver Risk & Regulatory transformation engagements across banking and financial services clients.
• Advise clients on Non-Financial Risk, Compliance, Conduct Risk, Operational Risk, Governance, and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
• Design and enhance risk governance frameworks, operating models, policies, controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation and business adoption.
• Provide advisory support on regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations issued by CBUAE, SAMA, DFSA, ADGM, and other regional regulators.

Practice Development

• Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and leading practices.
• Contribute to thought leadership, business development, proposals, and client pursuits.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

The Individual

• Strong understanding of Non-Financial Risk Management within the banking and financial services sector.
