Job summary

Capitex in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Manager in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Advisory to lead client engagements and strengthen FCC programs across industries. The role emphasizes risk assessments, policy development, and enhancements to transaction monitoring.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, mentor juniors, and liaise with regulatory bodies when needed, while contributing to business development through proposals and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in Financial Crime Advisory (consulting) or within financial institutions (2nd line of defense with advisory responsibilities).
• Strong understanding of key FCC program components and regulatory frameworks in UAE or international jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver client engagements (small to medium projects) and workstreams within larger programs.
• Perform AML program assessments, gap analyses, and AUPs; participate in third-party validations and monitorships.
• Develop FCC risk assessments, risk appetite statements, policies and procedures, and transaction monitoring typologies.
• Support design or enhancement of target operating models and vendor system assessments.
• Deliver FCC training sessions for Boards and across lines of defense.
• Manage project planning, execution, billing, and quality assurance.
