• Responsible for sourcing electrical items and coordinating with engineering and procurement.
• Review and recommend actions on purchased parts and BOM changes.
• Cost reduction of produced units and managing CAPEX for projects.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for new sourcing projects for electrical items
• Coordinate with Engineering for any new requirement or supplier.
• Coordinate with Sales for any new requirement or supplier.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to make sure materials to be ordered are correct.
• Review PO’s and make necessary corrections if required.
• Review all purchased parts and advise any necessary recommendation related to supplier or the product itself.
• Review all non-standard items and recommend the related product or supplier.
• Full coordination with the procurement team.
• Make the cost analyses sheet for any new product and comparison with current product.
• Get samples and follow up sample’s approval with QC.
• Review all BOM changes requested by Engineering and do the necessary action.
• Responsible for outsourcing activities and programs.
• Review the manufacturing process and recommend the best product to reduce the cost.
• Responsible for cost reduction of produced units.
• Any other assignment by the management.

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelors Degree preferred

Required Skills

Able to supervise Manufacturing of Electrical Panels for HVAC Units- Chillers, Packages, AHUs Etc. Can revise the design drawings for All Electrical Panels and making the take-off quantities. Can make Selection for all electrical panel materials when needed ‘’ i.e. make selection for Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Over-Load Relays, Transformers according to the load ampere. Coordinate with the Software Developers to Modify, change the Software in our controllers according to our testing, Commissioning. Review All the Drawing for Electrical Panels ‘’ Chillers, Packagers, AHU’s... etc. ‘’ and modify it when needed. Experience in HVAC systems (Electrical parts). Experience in most common types of A/C motors. Experience in using systems and parts design selection software 9. Manage CAPEX & Accessories for Projects. Certified for Internal Audit of Integrated Management System
