Job Description: Director, Commercial Finance Position Overview Aikho is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a leading telecommunications company based in Dubai, for a Senior Manager / Director, Commercial & Finance. The Director, Commercial Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving financial performance across commercial operations. This role is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and decision support for revenue-generating activities, ensuring profitability, sustainable growth, and alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership ◦Partner with senior executives to shape commercial strategy and pricing models.◦Provide financial insights to support market expansion, product launches, and customer negotiations.◦Lead scenario planning and business case development for new opportunities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) ◦Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for commercial divisions.◦Monitor revenue streams, margins, and cost structures to optimize profitability.◦Develop KPIs and dashboards to track commercial performance.
- Commercial Decision Support ◦Guide contract structuring, deal economics, and risk assessment.◦Support sales and business development teams with financial modeling and pricing strategies.◦Evaluate ROI of marketing, partnerships, and promotional initiatives.◦Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue trends.
- Governance & Compliance ◦Ensure adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.◦Strengthen internal controls across commercial transactions.◦Collaborate with audit and legal teams to mitigate risks.
- Team Leadership ◦Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.◦Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.◦Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, sales, marketing, and operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong expertise in commercial finance, pricing, and deal structuring.
- Proven track record of influencing executive decision-making and driving profitable growth.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in multinational or complex business environments is highly desirable.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboard development is a strong advantage.
