Job summary

ZoomInfo in Dubai is seeking a Senior Data Platform Lead to define the vision, roadmap, and technical strategy for the data platform. You will own architectural decisions across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, and governance, and you will manage and mentor a team of data platform engineers while delivering reliable, scalable data pipelines and workflows.

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• 2+ years leading data engineering teams.
• Experience with production-grade data platforms and cloud architectures.
• Strong understanding of data security and data contracts.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the vision, roadmap, and technical strategy for the data platform
• Own architectural decisions across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, and governance
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data platform engineers
• Oversee the development of reliable, scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Establish service-level objectives (SLOs), data quality standards, and incident response practices
• Partner with application engineering, data science, and product teams to translate needs into technical requirements

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or data architecture
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading data engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience operating production-grade data platforms and cloud architectures
• Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and data contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services (Redshift, S3, IAM, EKS, Glue, ECR, DMS)
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Airflow, dbt, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience supporting machine learning platforms or production ML services
