• To manage the Jebel Ali and Rashidya plant for smooth operations and minimize breakdowns
• To keep a record of the spare parts and manage the inventory
• Maintain records of work orders which are generated from the CMMS system and complete the tasks on time
• Raise Unsafe Acts and Conditions existing in the plant and proactively close such tasks to mitigate the risks
• Liaise with vendors for procuring spare parts and services
• Supporting the Production team with technical inputs to achieve maximum results
• Carry out routine survey/visual inspection of the plant machines as per equipment checklist
• Problem solving ability must be displayed when critical machinery is under breakdown
• Provide timely information to Maintenance Manager regarding plant activities, critical breakdowns and special works being undertaken
• Follow the Maintenance Manual and Maintenance policy guidelines while carrying out the duty
• Allocate and supervise the tasks assigned to subordinates and monitor progress
• Carry out TBT and OJT to the team to hone skills and improve from the learnings
• Always follow the safety guidelines and take part in Safety related activities to prevent any accidents and incidents in the workplace and prevent all DAFWC at all costs

Responsibilities

• Create work order for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure that AMC contracts are executed as per Service level agreements
• Maintain critical spare parts for inventory
• Ensure that all breakdowns are attended on timely basis and uptime of machinery is maintained
• Send out enquiry emails and get quotations for purchase of spare parts and consumables for maintenance department
• Follow all processes mentioned in the maintenance manual
• Execute all tasks advised by maintenance manager
• Ensure that work permit system / LOTO system is always adhered to
• Train and manage all unskilled helpers in maintenance department
• Work closely with production and distribution supervisors and safety officer

Skills required

• 3 to 5 years experience in process industry
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting with PLC-based machinery (Preferably Allen Bradley), VFD drives
• Hands on experience in electromechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic
