Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer - Mechanical to develop and implement maintenance plans for Civil & I&C systems across site facilities including AR Site Terminal, GA Terminal and Hail. The role emphasizes reliability, safety and efficient operation.

You will manage spare parts inventories, budgets, manpower coordination and the scheduling of PM, CM, PdM and CbM tasks while analyzing data to forecast needs and optimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies for Civil & I&C systems across sites (AR Site Terminal, GA Terminal, Hail).
• Ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt production or compromise safety.
• Develop and maintain spare parts inventory and budget planning.
• Coordinate with PI-MA execution teams to secure manpower and resources and ensure on-time completion.
• Analyze historical data and asset conditions to forecast future maintenance needs and budgets.
• Collaborate with OPMA to prioritize expenditures and optimize material and labour costs.
• Support planning for PM, CM, PdM and CbM items by priority.
• Identify training needs and implement on-the-job training for Civil section staff.
• Manage section KPIs and ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Prepare turnaround maintenance plans for scheduled shutdowns with defined scope and scheduling.
• Update Work Schedule to clearly define division of responsibility.

JOB TITLE :Maintanence Planning Engineer - Mechanical

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Responsible and supporting planning engineer for developing and implementing effective maintenance
  plans and strategies for Civil & Control (I&C) systems and equipment to ensure their reliability and
  efficiency across facilities in site, AR Site Terminal, GA Terminal, and Hail.
• Ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production or compromise safety.
• Developing and maintaining a spare parts inventory and Budget Planning.
• Coordinate with the respective PI-MA section execution team regarding the availability of manpower
  and resources, ensuring that jobs are completed on time.
• Analysing historical data/reports, assessing current asset conditions, forecasting future maintenance
  needs and market trend to develop accurate budgets.
• Collaborate closely with respective OPMA section to prioritize expenditures, optimize resource
  allocation, determine material cost, labour cost and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support planning Engineer for Effective management and allotment of all PM, CM, PdM, and CbM
  items in accordance with the criticality of the In hand works.
• Identify the training needs and establish targets for all the Jobs in the Civil section under direct
  supervision and implement the approved on-the-job training properly in accordance with the training
  and development system policy and AIMS procedure and development programs of Staffs within the section.
• Effectively manage the respective section KPIs, ensure allotted works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Prepare turnaround maintenance planning as it is a critical process aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of scheduled shutdowns. It involves meticulous preparation, including defining the scope of work, scheduling tasks to minimize downtime, allocating resources effectively, and conducting thorough risk assessments to address safety and operational concerns.
• Support planning Engineer for Work Schedule shall be updated clearly defining the division of responsibility.
