Job summary

Emirates Post Group is seeking diligent Mail and Parcel Sorters to efficiently process large volumes, scan tracking codes, and prepare shipments for city delivery in a busy Dubai facility. You will unload bags, operate a sorting belt, scan with handheld devices, and move crates to loading docks while ensuring the safe handling of sensitive documents.

The role requires physical strength, rapid reading of area names, and strict background checks.

Qualifications

• Must read English area names quickly (e.g., Deira, Jumeirah).
• Able to move hundreds of kilograms of cargo safely.
• Background checks and police clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Unload large canvas bags of international letters and place them on the main sorting belt.
• Scan barcodes on packages with a handheld scanner to update live tracking.
• Move sorted boxes with cages toward the correct loading dock for early routes.
• Separate highly sensitive items (Emirates ID cards, bank letters) into a secured room.

Emirates Post Group requires fast and focused Mail and Parcel Sorters to process massive volumes of incoming shipments, scan tracking codes, and organize packages for final city delivery.

Daily Sorting Tasks:

• Unload huge canvas bags filled with international letters and dump them safely onto the main mechanical sorting belt.
• Scan the plastic barcodes on e-commerce packages using a handheld laser device to update the live customer tracking website.
• Push heavy metal cages filled with sorted boxes toward the correct loading dock so the drivers can start their morning routes on time.
• Separate highly sensitive items like new Emirates ID cards or official bank letters into a strictly locked security room.

Rules for Selection:

• Reading Speed: Workers must read English area names like 'Deira' or 'Jumeirah' in just one second to keep the machine belt moving quickly.
• Physical Strength: Moving hundreds of kilograms of commercial cargo every night requires a strong back and healthy arms.
• Honesty: Handling personal bank documents and expensive electronics demands strict background checks and a completely clean police clearance certificate.
