The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating machines as well as using hand tools to complete tasks as needed. This includes adjusting settings on the machines or equipment depending on the requirements of each job, monitoring the machines during operation, checking for quality standards in line with expectations, maintaining accurate records of production processes or timescales, ensuring that the equipment is well maintained and ensuring safety of self and other workers at all times.

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working with machines in some capacity as well as knowledge of production processes or techniques. Other important skills include attention to detail; excellent problem-solving abilities; good communication skills; physical fitness; time management skills; the ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision; knowledge of safety procedures; and understanding of quality control measures.
