Job summary

Fairmont Ajman is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to keep guest rooms clean, comfortable and inviting, upholding our luxury standards. You will clean rooms, replenish amenities, and ensure hygiene across guest spaces while respecting privacy and safety. Basic English and teamwork are essential for daily duties in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and service-oriented.
• Basic communication in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
• Ensure trolleys and housekeeping equipment are clean, well-stocked, and properly stored.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respect guest privacy and ensure confidentiality while servicing rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties, linen distribution, and public area cleaning when required.
• Deliver prompt and courteous service to all guests, anticipating and responding to their needs.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and grooming standards.
