Job summary

Raffles The Palm Dubai is seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to supervise the safety and welfare of guests at the pool and beach, reporting to the Lifeguard Supervisor. The role requires maintaining high safety standards and delivering attentive service in a luxury setting.

You will conduct safety checks, respond to incidents, and participate in ongoing training to uphold Raffles’ renowned guest experience. A calm, proactive attitude and experience in luxury hospitality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous lifeguard experience in luxury hotel/resort.
• Knowledge of water rescue, first aid, CPR, and emergency response.
• Experience monitoring pool/beach and lifesaving equipment.
• Strong guest service, friendly and attentive.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report hazards and maintenance needs to lifeguard supervisor.
• Monitor pool/beach areas and enforce safety rules.
• Attend daily briefings and follow SOPs and emergency plans.
• Perform daily lifesaving equipment checks and report issues.
• Ensure cleanliness and safe operation of pool and beach areas.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service and respond to emergencies.
