Job summary

The Meydan Hotel in Dubai is seeking a friendly Waiter/Waitress for Farriers Restaurant to join our front-of-house team. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience with professional hospitality.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication, and a keen eye for detail. You will work in a dynamic setting across shifts, upholding HACCP standards and delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Possess in-depth knowledge of all menu items and upsell options.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure comfort on arrival and departure.
• Prepare tables, trays, or trolleys and seat guests.
• Introduce menus and specials; take accurate orders and enter them correctly.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and standard settings at all times.
• Address dietary or allergy needs and communicate to staff.
• Handle payments and guest charges accurately.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, or escalate as needed.
• Build rapport with guests and maintain positive relationships.
• Adapt to different areas within the F&B division as required.
