Job summary

BMW Group Retail Middle East – Abu Dhabi Motors is seeking an Auto Painter to perform spray painting, assess requests, prepare estimates, update customers on progress, and restore vehicles to original condition.

The role requires previous auto painting experience, proper certification or vocational training, and the ability to operate painting equipment safely while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: S.S.C. / Trade Certificate / Vocational Training.
• Certification or equivalent vocational training as an Auto Painter preferred.
• Previous experience in auto painting is mandatory.
• Skilled in spray painting techniques and surface preparation.
• Ability to operate painting equipment and related tools safely.
• Knowledge of automotive industry safety standards and regulations.
• Physically fit to handle painting equipment and work environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto painting tasks using spray painting equipment and related tools.
• Assess the extent of vehicle paintwork, restoration, or customization requests.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for painting and refinishing work.
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding job progress.
• Restore vehicles to original condition by repairing scratches, preparing surfaces, applying paint, and finishing panels.
