Job description
Position Summary
  • Patrol all areas of the property; secure rooms; assist guests with room access.
  • Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key‑control audits.
  • Monitor closed‑circuit television and alarm systems.
  • Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS, and administer first aid/CPR as required.
  • Gather information and complete reports while maintaining confidentiality of reports/documents and releasing information only to authorized individuals.
  • Defuse disturbances and resolve safety‑hazard situations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints; escort unwelcome persons from the property.
  • Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and call for assistance using proper code responses.
  • Provide proper paperwork to employees, support training, motivate and coach staff, and serve as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written interactions, prepare and review documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards across all activities.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related work experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or certification: None required.
