Position Summary
- Patrol all areas of the property; secure rooms; assist guests with room access.
- Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key‑control audits.
- Monitor closed‑circuit television and alarm systems.
- Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS, and administer first aid/CPR as required.
- Gather information and complete reports while maintaining confidentiality of reports/documents and releasing information only to authorized individuals.
- Defuse disturbances and resolve safety‑hazard situations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle all interruptions and complaints; escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Provide proper paperwork to employees, support training, motivate and coach staff, and serve as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written interactions, prepare and review documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards across all activities.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related work experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- License or certification: None required.
