Job summary

Want More in Dubai is seeking a reliable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. You will transport goods across long distances, plan routes, and perform pre-trip inspections. The ideal candidate is an Indian national with a valid UAE heavy-vehicle license, at least 2 years of long-haul experience, and strong English communication.

You must follow UAE traffic laws and maintain delivery records. Salary is 1600 USD per month, with accommodation provided.

Qualifications

Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Dubai. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, typically between different cities or states. This is a physically demanding job that requires driving for extended periods of time, often through various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a heavy commercial truck to transport goods
• Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure proper loading of goods
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other important data
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding any delays or issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
• Handle necessary paperwork such as bills of lading and other delivery documents
• Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times

Requirements

• Must be an Indian national with a valid UAE driving license for heavy vehicles
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver in the UAE or similar country
• Good knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws in the UAE
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
