Job description

Our client a prestigious organization in the arts and culture sector is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all logistics transportation and operational support related to events festivals educational programmes and organizational activities. This role ensures that all logistical operations run efficiently safely and in full alignment with project timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop implement and oversee end-to-end logistics plans for events exhibitions workshops and community programmes.
  • Coordinate transportation of artworks equipment materials and event assets across multiple venues within Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
  • Manage inventory storage solutions and movement of assets in line with safety preservation and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed logistics schedules ensuring timely delivery and setup for all programmes and events.
  • Supervise on-site logistics during rehearsals installations event days and dismantling phases.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Production Education Events Communications) to understand logistical requirements and support them effectively.
  • Oversee vendor logistics including delivery timelines equipment installation and compliance with venue rules.
  • Ensure all logistical activities align with event production plans and organizational objectives.
  • Manage relationships with logistics companies transportation providers warehouse contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Negotiate rates monitor performance and ensure cost-effective and high-quality logistical support.
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with UAE health safety and transportation regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of asset movements logistics expenses contracts and permits.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in logistics operations or event support preferably within arts culture entertainment or large-scale event environments.
  • Proven experience handling multiple sites suppliers transportation timelines and high-volume event operations.
  • Strong understanding of UAE logistics regulations transport operations and safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication vendor management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure manage multiple deadlines and support evening/weekend events when required.
