Job summary

Workato in Abu Dhabi seeks a reliable light driver to transport goods and passengers within Al Shamkhah City. The role focuses on safety, timely deliveries, and route adherence.

You will operate vans and cars, maintain vehicle logs, and report incidents. A clean driving record, ability to drive manual vehicles, and good knowledge of local roads are required. The salary is 1500 AED per month.

Foreigners are welcome to apply; prior urban driving experience and basic mechanical skills are assets.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive manual vehicles.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Good knowledge of local roads and areas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles such as vans, cars and light trucks in a safe manner.
• Follow assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws.
• Load/unload goods when necessary.
• Ensure that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are in proper working condition.
• Maintain logs of working hours and kilometres travelled.
• Report any accidents or traffic violations to the supervisor.
• Comply with company policies when operating the vehicle.
