Job summary

Al Sahraa Group seeks a seasoned Civil Engineer to act as Competent Person (CP) for Civil PTW activities in TRANSCO substations. You will plan, supervise, and execute civil works while ensuring strict TRANSCO standards, quality, and HSE compliance.

Key duties include coordinating with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, and maintaining quality records in live environments. CICPA pass and 8–10 years of substation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 8-10 years of substation civil construction experience.
• Experience working inside live substations.
• CICPA Pass mandatory.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and HSE requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil construction activities within live substations.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
• Coordinate site activities with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA/TRANSCO civil work specifications and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control documentation.
• Manage manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment resources.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule.
• Identify safety hazards and implement mitigation measures with HSE teams.
