Job summary

JobCenter is seeking a compassionate Live-in Caregiver to support elderly Indian and Malayalee clients in El-Ain. You will assist with daily living tasks and provide companionship.

This full-time live-in role offers accommodation and a private room; you may work weekends and have time off during the week. Prior caregiving experience is preferred though not required.

High school diploma required; first aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in caregiving or first aid/CPR is an asset but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and cultural understanding of Indian and Malayalee communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Prepare nutritious meals for the client based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with the client.
• Accompany client to appointments or social outings if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up the client's living space.
