Job summary

Etihad Airways seeks a Riding Engineer to perform line maintenance duties and ensure aircraft airworthiness and operational reliability across outstations and Abu Dhabi. You will adhere to UAE GCAA regulations and Etihad Technical standards while maintaining licenses and delivering maintenance per approved data and schedules.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an international environment are essential; prior experience with Etihad aircraft type

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent; technical or engineering diploma/degree preferred.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License(GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of certifying experience on at least 2 of Etihad aircraft type ratings (Level 3) — Airbus 320 / 350 / 380, Boeing 777 / 787 — with valid company authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform riding engineer duties in line with approved maintenance documents, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE GCAA regulations and Etihad Technical standards.
• Maintain valid licenses, approvals, and authorizations; communicate training/renewal needs to management at least six months prior to expiry.
• Deliver high-quality aircraft maintenance to release to service safely, on time, and per schedule.
