About the job LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVER (Delivery)

Position: Light Vehicle Driver (Delivery)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a light vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle and ensure they are securely packed
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Follow all traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe driving
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly attitude while interacting with clients
• Assist with other tasks within the company as needed

Requirements

• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a light vehicle driver, preferably in a delivery role
• Good knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic rules
• Ability to read and follow maps and GPS directions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
