Job description

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Light Vehicle Driver/Chargehand to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles while also providing leadership and guidance to a team of drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety excellent driving skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Lead and supervise a team of drivers assigning tasks and coordinating daily operations
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods or passengers to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours mileage and any incidents or delays
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and passengers
• Assist in training new drivers and promoting safe driving practices
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize routes and schedules
• Handle administrative tasks related to vehicle operations and team management
