Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai is seeking a Light Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a valid driving license, has solid driving experience in the UAE, and understands local roads. This role requires excellent customer service, the ability to read maps and follow directions accurately, and clear communication with co-workers and customers.

Location is Dubai and duties include safe transport of goods and maintaining the vehicle. We are willing to consider foreign nationals for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and at least 3 years' UAE/Dubai driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the local roads, traffic rules, and regulations.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers and customers.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Punctuality and reliability is essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods safely from one location to another while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Ensuring that the vehicle is kept clean and maintained at all times.
• Loading/unloading goods from/to delivery vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service by being courteous, polite and friendly.
• Keeping accurate records of deliveries made on daily basis.
