Job summary

PPOAR in Abu-Dhabi invites applications for a Light Driver to join our team. The role requires a valid UAE driving license, reliable service, and safe delivery practices.

You will transport goods, keep the vehicle clean, follow traffic rules, use GPS for navigation, and help with loading and unloading as needed. Salary is negotiating and commensurate with experience.

Candidates should be familiar with Abu Dhabi roads; prior light-vehicle experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Light Driver

We are seeking an experienced Light Driver to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills and a valid driver's license. In addition, they must be reliable and have a good attitude towards customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods in a safe manner as per the instructions of the supervisor
• Ensure that the vehicle is well maintained and clean at all times
• Follow all relevant traffic regulations and safety standards
• Monitor vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.
• Make sure that paperwork related to deliveries is accurate and up to date
• Assist unloading/loading of goods when necessary
• Report any issues on the road or mechanical problems with the vehicle in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license from Abu Dhabi or other UAE Emirates
• Previous experience as a light driver is preferred but not required
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and traffic rules
• Ability to use GPS devices for navigation purposes

Salary: AED 1400 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
