Job description

We are looking for an experienced Light Driver to help us ensure safe, timely, and reliable transportation services in El-Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving light vehicles and ensuring that the delivery of goods and materials is completed in a timely manner.

The key duties of the Light Driver include: operating light vehicles to transport goods; maintaining accurate records of cargo; familiarizing with the route; driving safely in compliance with traffic regulations; following all safety protocols; and adhering to company policy regarding vehicle usage. In addition, the Light Driver will be responsible for completing pre-trip inspection of vehicles as well as carrying out minor repairs or maintenance on vehicles when necessary.

We offer a competitive salary of 1700 AED per month along with other benefits such as medical coverage, annual leave, and other allowances.

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid UAE driver’s license along with at least two years’ experience driving light vehicles in the UAE or similar environment. You should also possess excellent knowledge of UAE traffic laws and regulations as well as excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written). Additionally, you must demonstrate a good track record of safe driving practices and an ability to think quickly on your feet when faced with unexpected situations on the road. Finally, you should have basic knowledge of basic automotive maintenance & repair work. We will consider applicants who are foreign nationals for this role.
