Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a technically skilled elevator/escalator technician in the Dubai area. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical installation, wiring, alignment, testing, and commissioning of elevator systems on site.

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in electrical works, a Diploma in electrical or related vocational field, and be fluent in English. Age 22-35, with hands-on problem solving and readiness to work on site in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician in electrical works.
• Higher Secondary from an accredited school, Diploma in electrical or vocational course related to Elevators and Escalators Works.
• Age 22-35 years old.
• Speaking and writing intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical work for elevators (e.g., wiring, component installation, testing, commissioning).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and identify malfunctioning components with testing tools.
• Carry out final adjustments, testing, site preparation, and handover.

Job description

• Carry out the assigned Mechanical (such as Template, fixing brackets, rails & Rails alignment, fixingdoor entrances, cabin and ropes, fixing machine room equipment’s... etc.)and Electrical work, (such as wiring, adjusting of shaft and car door, loadtesting, fixing shaft accessories...etc).
• Troubleshoot anddiagnose technical issues, including electrical and mechanical problems, andimplement effective solutions.
• Able to read andunderstand the electrical wiring diagram and familiar with the fault findingsprincipals & allocating the malfunction component e.g., brakes, motors,switches, signals and control systems using test equipment’s.
• Know how to use hands and measurements& testing devices such as ammeters and voltmeters and elevator diagnostic tools.Preferred experience in test and commissioning
• Carry out finaladjustments, testing and commissioning, site preparation up to finalhanding over.
• Possessappropriate knowledge on the tools and equipment to be used when executing theabove job.
