Job summary

Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Life Support / Medical/ Trauma Instructor to join our Training Team and deliver advanced healthcare education in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on simulation-based learning, skills assessments, and ensuring participants achieve clinical competency.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in healthcare or training, a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, and current instructor certification from recognized organizations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical practice, or training.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Medicine, Paramedicine, EMS, or another healthcare discipline.
• Current instructor certification from recognised organisations such as AHA, HSI/ASHI, NAEMT or similar.
• Strong teaching, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, skills sessions, simulation-based training, case discussions and competency assessments.
• Assess knowledge, skills, clinical decision-making, teamwork, and adherence to resuscitation algorithms.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences for healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate course scheduling, instructor allocation and training preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to run training programs.

Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for an experienced and passionate Life Support / Medical/ Trauma Instructor to join our Training Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare training, facilitating simulation-based learning, and assessing participants' clinical competencies and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom lectures, practical skills sessions, simulation-based training, case discussions, mega code scenarios, and competency assessments
• Assess participants' knowledge, practical skills, clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and adherence to established resuscitation algorithms
• Facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences for healthcare professionals
• Conduct skills assessments, simulations, and competency evaluations in accordance with established training standards
• Participate in course scheduling, instructor allocation, and training preparation
• Coordinate training activities with internal teams and external clients
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of training delivery and participant experience

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical practice, or training
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Medicine, Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services, or another relevant healthcare discipline
• Current instructor certification from a recognized organization such as AHA, HSI/ASHI, NAEMT, Highfield, or another approved resuscitation organization
• Strong teaching, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated ability to conduct simulation-based training, skills assessments, and competency evaluations
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to effectively assess and provide constructive feedback to participants
• Professional, confident, and engaging approach to training delivery
