Responsibilities

• Testing patients' colour vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
• Diagnosing eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts.
• Examining eyes for signs of injury or disease.
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results with patients.
• Referring patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
