Qualifications

• Knowledge of current laws governing the practice of pharmacy in Sharjah.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to doctors’ prescriptions
• Follow established guidelines to provide advice on how to take drugs correctly
• Answer questions from customers about drug interactions, side effects, dosage amounts, storage instructions and availability
• Ensure safe medication storage procedures are followed
• Monitor patient medication therapy and adherence
• Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed
• Monitor drug inventories and order new supplies when needed
• Compound medications when requested by physicians or customers
• Consult with medical practitioners regarding patient drug therapies
• Remain up-to-date on new drugs and their uses
