British Airways in Dubai seeks an aircraft maintenance technician to perform rapid line maintenance on transit aircraft at Dubai International Airport, ensuring on-time departures and safety compliance. You will isolate avionic and mechanical faults using manuals, and sign the Certificate of Release to Service in the technical logbook, bearing responsibility for flight safety.

The role requires an EASA Part-66 B1/B2 license (or UAE GCAA equivalent) and active type ratings on the long-haul fleet,

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Mandatory possession of a valid and unrestricted EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 License, or an exact GCAA approved equivalent.
• Active and current aircraft type ratings on BA's long-haul fleet, specifically the Boeing 777, 787, or Airbus A350/A380 aircraft.
• Ability to pass strict UAE CID background checks to obtain an unescorted Dubai Airports Airside Security Pass.

Responsibilities

• Execute rapid and legally compliant line maintenance on transit aircraft at Dubai International Airport to hit strict departure SLAs.
• Isolate complex avionic and mechanical faults, utilizing technical manuals to safely release the aircraft back into service.
• Sign the official Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) in the technical logbook, holding ultimate legal liability for flight safety.
