Librarian (1100 AED/Month)

We are looking for a reliable and organized Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for books. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Organize books in the library according to the established classification system
• Assist patrons with the use of library equipment
• Provide assistance and guidance to patrons on the use of library resources
• Compile, update and maintain library records such as bibliographies, catalogues, indexes etc.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new books and other media materials available in the library
• Prepare reading lists and research topics for students and other patrons
• Keep track of overdue books and other items borrowed by patrons
• Assist with budgeting, resource allocation and book selection activities
• Assist with special events such as book readings or author visits.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; higher qualifications preferred but not essential
