Librarian vacancy in Al Shamkhah City UAE for unskilled workers Al Shamkhah City is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Librarian to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and curating the library's collection, providing services to patrons, and other duties associated with the position. The Librarian will be responsible for organizing, cataloging, and maintaining the library's collection of books, magazines, periodicals, audio-visual materials, electronic databases, and other reference materials. They will also provide research assistance to patrons by helping them locate resources available in the library or online. Additionally, they will provide instructional support on how to use the library's resources and technology. The successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and have good knowledge of library information systems. They should be able to effectively communicate information about library services and resources while interacting with patrons in a polite and professional manner. Knowledge of current technologies such as 3D printing, scanning equipment, GIS mapping software is an advantage. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position who meets all requirements. The salary for this position is 1500 per month.
