Job summary

UrbanLogic seeks a highly organized Librarian to join the Ajman, UAE team. You will manage all library operations, develop collections, assist patrons, and oversee circulation, programs, and equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Library Science and at least two years of Librarian experience with strong organizational and communication skills. Visa sponsorship is provided for a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian.
• Proficiency in using library management software.
• Indian nationality preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain library collections including books, journals, and digital resources.
• Organize and classify materials according to established systems.
• Assist patrons in locating materials and provide information on library services.
• Manage circulation of materials including checking out and returning items.
• Plan and conduct library programs such as storytime for children or book clubs for adults.
• Maintain library equipment such as computers and printers.
• Keep accurate records of library transactions and prepare reports as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on new library technologies and trends.
