Librarian - El-Ain

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will work in a stimulating and vibrant environment, and will be responsible for the efficient operation of the library. The salary is 1400 per month, and we are open to considering immigrants for the role.

Job Duties

The main responsibilities of the Librarian include: cataloguing books, periodicals, videos, audio recordings and other library materials; assisting patrons in finding resources; organizing book displays; providing reference services; maintaining library collections; managing database systems; organizing special events such as book clubs and author visits; supervising library staff; and providing administrative support.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, good communication abilities, customer service orientation and knowledge of library databases. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field is required. Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential. Any experience working with multicultural or international customers would be a plus.
