Librarian (Abu Dhabi, 1600 AED)

We are in search of an experienced librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for books and reading, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s collection and ensuring that it is kept up to date. They will also be required to provide assistance to readers, helping them find the material that they need. Other tasks include cataloguing new materials, organizing book displays and maintaining records of library resources.

The librarian should have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field and experience working in a library setting. They should also possess strong computer skills and be familiar with library software programs. Knowledge of foreign languages would be beneficial but is not essential.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent customer service skills, is able to work independently, has good problem solving abilities, and can work with minimal supervision. This position is open to both locals and foreigners alike with a salary of 1600 AED per month.
