Job summary

Position: Librarian

Location: Ajman, UAE

We are hiring a Librarian to join our team at our library in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and organizing books and other materials.
• Assist library patrons with finding resources and provide information services.
• Develop and implement library programs, activities, and events to promote reading and learning.
• Maintain library records, including circulation statistics, book inventory, and patron information.
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop a diverse collection of materials for all ages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Preferably Nepali or Kenyan nationalities.
