Experienced Part-Time Librarian for Abu Dhabi, UAE with Accommodation
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate should have experience working in a library setting and be comfortable working with English-speaking patrons. This is a part-time role with accommodation provided.
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: managing library resources; organizing library activities; providing research assistance; cataloging materials; developing educational programs; and promoting reading and literacy. The successful candidate must also possess excellent customer service skills and be able to respond to patron inquiries in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a librarian, excellent organizational and communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of library procedures, databases, and literature resources, familiarity with cataloging systems, and an understanding of current trends in library services. Candidates with Indian nationality are preferred but all applicants will be considered.
