Job summary

Accord International Advocates and Legal Consultants seeks a Legal Researcher to support advocates by conducting in-depth research on UAE and international laws. You will analyze statutes, case law, and regulatory developments, prepare memoranda, and assist in drafting legal documents for litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and knowledge of commercial, corporate, real estate, and dispute resolution frameworks.
• Advanced research and analytical skills to interpret statutes, case law, and legal commentary.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing legal documents and memoranda.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for collaboration with teams and clients.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; familiarity with UAE procedures and international frameworks.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal research tools; high attention to detail and confidentiality.

Role Description The Legal Researcher will support the firm's advocates and legal consultants by conducting comprehensive legal research across UAE and international laws, regulations, and case precedents. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing statutes, case law, and legal texts, preparing research memorandum and briefs, and assisting in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters. The role involves organizing and maintaining research databases, monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to the firm's practice areas, and summarizing findings in clear, well-structured formats for internal use and client matters.and should be specialized in executing files.

The Legal Researcher will collaborate closely with legal teams to prepare for hearings, negotiations, and client meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai

• Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of commercial, corporate, real estate, and dispute resolution frameworks.
• Advanced Research and Analytical Skills to interpret statutes, case law, and legal commentary and present clear, accurate findings.
• Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and reviewing memorandum, pleadings, contracts, and legal correspondence.
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with legal teams and present complex information clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a higher legal qualification (LLM or similar) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE laws and procedures; exposure to international legal frameworks is beneficial.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and databases, and strong MS Office skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated professional ethics, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
