Job summary

Lobo Management Services is seeking a Legal & Compliance professional to strengthen a regional legal function, with exposure across compliance, litigation support, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs in the UAE, KSA, GCC, and Africa.

This strategic, on-site role involves engaging with government authorities, managing end-to-end legal matters, and delivering training to business teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bar qualification is mandatory.
• Experience in legal, compliance, or corporate governance.
• Strong exposure to regulatory and government-facing matters.
• Able to operate across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a core member of the Legal team, managing end-to-end legal matters with a strong focus on compliance and litigation.
• Liaise with government authorities and external bodies (including JAFZA, ministries, notary public, police authorities), ensuring effective communication in Arabic.
• Drive cross-functional implementation of compliance frameworks covering anti-fraud, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, cartel prevention, and anti-money laundering.
• Conduct daily reviews of applications, forms, and regulatory documentation to ensure alignment with Head Office policies.
• Research and advise on regional legislation and regulatory requirements, including JAFZA Free Zone regulations, across GCC and Africa.
• Support U.S. sanctions and trade compliance requirements.
• Assist with arbitration and litigation matters, including coordination with external legal counsel.
• Oversee corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including resolutions, AGMs, annual filings, and statutory compliance.
• Manage KSA-related legal work, including licensing, regulatory compliance, contracts, disputes, and liaison with relevant authorities.
• Deliver internal legal awareness sessions and practical training to business teams.

Our client a leading consumer electronics organization to appoint a Legal & Compliance professional to strengthen their regional legal function. This role offers broad exposure across compliance, litigation support, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs, with responsibility spanning the UAE, KSA, GCC, and Africa.

This is a strategic, hands‑on role suited for a legal professional who is comfortable operating in a regulated environment and engaging closely with government authorities and senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in legal, compliance, or corporate governance within a structured organization
• Strong exposure to regulatory and government‑facing matters
• Legally qualified and admitted to practice law in any jurisdiction (bar qualification is mandatory)
• Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions
