Job summary

Blue Pulse in Dubai is seeking an experienced Civil/Water Resources engineer with 5–10 years in hydraulics, hydrology, or water resources engineering. An MSc is strongly preferred, BSc in civil/environmental engineering required, and exposure to donor-funded projects (World Bank, UNICEF, AfDB) is a plus.

You will lead the hydraulic and hydrological modelling for infrastructure design, feasibility studies, and donor programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in civil or water resources.
• Master's degree strongly preferred in hydrology/hydraulics or water resources.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in hydraulics/hydrology in consulting.
• Experience with donor-funded projects (World Bank, UNICEF, AfDB) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hydraulic and hydrological work across infrastructure design, feasibility studies, and donor programs.
• Produce hydrological analyses: catchment analysis, rainfall-runoff, flood frequency, water balance.
• Create hydraulic models for rivers, open channels, and urban drainage; 1D/2D flood modelling.
