Job summary

POWERTECH in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring throughput targets and accurate inventory through the WMS. You will lead handlers, pickers and packers, enforce HSE standards, and coordinate equipment use to maintain smooth material flow.

The role requires 5–7 years in warehousing or logistics, experience with WMS, and a background in regulated environments; forklift certification and HSE training are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Proven experience supervising warehouse teams including handlers, pickers, and packers.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and operational workflows.
• Experience implementing operational procedures and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Exposure to defense, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities and meet throughput targets as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Supervise warehouse handlers, pickers and packers; assign tasks and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Ensure accurate recording of inbound, internal transfers and outbound movements in the WMS; support cycle counts.
• Enforce HSE standards and proper DG handling; ensure safe storage of hazardous items.
• Monitor equipment use (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Prepare structured daily/weekly/monthly reports on team performance and inventory metrics.
