Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an experienced Technical Project Leader in Dubai to translate client briefs into robust AV and lighting solutions, develop concepts and production strategies, and coordinate with operations, suppliers and venues.

The role covers site inspections, end-to-end delivery, cost estimation, CAD drawings, safety compliance, and on-site management of crews. Strong leadership, scheduling and problem-solving under pressure are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Production, Event Management or related field (preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in technical event production.

Responsibilities

• Translate client briefs into technical solutions for AV lighting, staging, LED, power distribution.
• Develop technical concepts, layouts and production strategies.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse and external suppliers.
• Oversee site inspections and technical feasibility assessments.
• Lead end-to-end technical event project delivery as required.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and quotations.
• Conduct technical costing for labour, equipment, logistics and subcontractors.
• Ensure margin control and commercial viability of projects.
• Produce or review technical drawings (CAD layouts, rigging plots, stage plans, power layouts).
• Ensure compliance with venue regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate structural calculations when required.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and revisions.
• Oversee installation rehearsals and live event execution.
• Manage technical crews and subcontractors onsite.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and method statements.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges under live-event pressure.
• Act as technical lead in client meetings and presentations.
• Provide professional technical advice and recommendations.
• Coordinate with venues, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business.
• Conduct RAMS risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
