Job summary

DiceTek UAE in Dubai is hiring a Senior Statistical Specialist responsible for leading the design, execution, and validation of statistical surveys and opinion polls. This role is critical for supporting strategic planning and policy development aligned with Dubai Government standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in statistical research, survey design, and applied analytics.
• Proven expertise in sampling methodologies, data validation, and advanced statistical modeling.
• Knowledge of international statistical standards, coding systems, and global best practices.
• Ability to guide and mentor teams involved in data collection, analysis, and survey execution.
• Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
• Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design statistical samples for surveys and opinion polls and supervise their execution across all stages.
• Participate in developing strategic objectives, plans, and programs for statistical projects within Dubai.
• Propose, develop, and review policies and procedures governing statistical activities and surveys.
• Provide technical expertise, professional consultations, and forecasting insights on statistical phenomena.
• Review statistical analysis methods to ensure accuracy, objectivity, and adoption of modern techniques.
• Oversee technical review processes for field, office, and electronic data to ensure quality and validation.
• Review final reports, outputs, and statistical formats used across projects and studies.
• Provide consulting on data validation, classifications, coding systems, and alignment with international standards.
• Train and qualify staff working on statistical surveys to enhance their technical and analytical capabilities.
• Monitor local, regional, and global developments in statistical science and recommend modern methodologies.
• Represent the organization in national committees and technical working groups.
