Job summary

Turuq Engineering is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation activities for diverse construction projects in the UAE. You will analyze plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates, and apply value engineering to optimize budgets while preserving quality and performance.

The role requires 3-5 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably with MRICS/RICS credentials, and experience on large-scale commercial or residential projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • MRICS, RICS certification or equivalent is highly preferred for credibility in the field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or residential projects is advantageous for complex cost management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing plans and specifications.
  • Conduct value engineering assessments to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Manage contractual agreements including negotiation and administration of contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential financial impacts during project execution.
